Amlapura's traditional market is the largest market in Karangasem regency. Located in Amplapura its about 25 minutes from Candidasa. Every day the market is open from 3 am to 1 pm. There are a lot of traders who sell ranging from vegetables, fresh fruit, meat, fish, spices, prayer equipment, clothing, souvenirs and much more.
Prices on the market are usually cheap and inexpensive. My advice, you must be good at playing the price by bidding the item you want to buy at a lower price so you get the same price as the local. Sometimes if you are a tourist the price will be different from the local, at least twice the normal price (sounds a bit discriminating :)) ...)
Interacting with local people and merchants in the market can create an experience in itself. So if you want to see how people in Bali go to the market, buy their daily needs, how do they bargain the price to get a cheap price. Perhaps Amlapura market can be a shopping destination for your daily needs.
